This healthcare centre stands at the southern entrance to the Lesná housing estate and is an important local landmark. It was built between 1968 and 1974 to a design by architect Libuše Kopřivíková.
The low-rise modernist building is set into a sloping site and organised around two internal courtyards that bring daylight deep into the interior. A bright central hall with a main staircase forms the heart of the building.
The polyclinic was carefully refurbished in 2017–2019, updating the façade and interiors while preserving its original character. Several original artworks from the 1970s remain part of the building.
During Open House Brno, visitors can explore both original and renovated spaces, including a normally closed inner courtyard.
