The Park Railway is a unique outdoor miniature railway operating large-scale model trains. It was the first public railway of its kind in the Czech Republic and is set in a landscaped park by the River Svratka.
The main station building is a scaled-down version of historic railway stations from the early age of railways. The line opened to the public in 2012 and includes typical railway facilities such as workshops, a depot and a turntable.
The railway is 1.5 km long and runs through a green riverside area designed as part of a natural park.
During Open House Brno, visitors can see a display of locomotives and carriages in operation, with live demonstrations and expert commentary — an engaging experience for both children and adults.
