The original Baroque chapel space in the historic Romanesque church, which is part of the Military Hospital complex, now houses the Pharmacy of St. Kunhuta and staff facilities.

The Church of St. Kunhuta, dating from the turn of the 12th and 13th centuries, was part of a manor where a Premonstratensian convent was founded before 1209. Together with the renovation of the convent in 1773-75, the church was also extensively rebuilt in the Baroque style. From 1786, it served as a warehouse. During modifications in 1939, it was divided into an eastern part, adapted as a chapel, and a western part, converted into a morgue. In the 1970s, due to spatial changes, the chapel was improperly repurposed into changing rooms and storage. The last major transformation of this cultural monument took place in 2002, when the building was completely renovated and rehabilitated, making it suitable for modern use while preserving its spatial and historical value.

The overall reconstruction of the former church reflects the readability of different architectural components: the Baroque reconstruction of the church and the new, simple, modernist, glazed interior structure housing the staff facilities. At the centre of this space, a simple geometric form was placed — a fully glazed white object, which, with its smooth and reflective homogeneous surface, subtly contrasts with the matte texture of the chapel’s interior plasterwork. The stairs and landing are designed with silver-coloured aluminium sheets. The furniture is made from stained oak veneer slats with small stainless steel accents. The customer entrance is located in the western part of the chapel. The office is directly connected to the warehouse, which houses the pharmacy's staff facilities in a separate two-storey building. The ground floor contains a room for storing medicinal products and staff hygiene facilities. The upper floor houses the staff changing rooms and the chief pharmacist’s office. The day room and goods reception area are located in the sanctuary space at the end of the chapel, separated from the rest of the space by a glass sliding partition. The main customer entrance and exit to the pharmacy is located from the complex’s access road at the building’s frontage, while staff and supply access is from the sanctuary.

The Pharmacy of St. Kunhuta dispenses medicinal products, medical devices, and other supplementary items based on medical prescriptions, vouchers for therapeutic and orthopaedic aids, as well as over-the-counter items to both ambulatory patients and external clients. Located within the complex of the current Military Hospital, the pharmacy is protected by its entry in the National Register of Cultural Monuments (USNKP) and is part of the protective zone of the Brno City Historical Reserve.
