We are opening the competition to children and young people of all age groups, from kindergarten through to high school

Young artists, do you love architecture? Do you enjoy drawing, painting, or taking photos? Every year, as part of the Open House Europe festival, we organize a visual arts competition for adults. This year, we’re thinking of everyone! This year’s theme is Cities in Flux. Join us and capture this year’s festival theme through your own perspective. This year’s edition focuses on how architectural Brno has changed over time. Houses, streets, and even entire neighborhoods do not appear all at once – people plan them, build them, and sometimes even demolish them to make space for something new. Every change can be both exciting and challenging at the same time. Have you noticed, while walking through the city, how many old buildings are being demolished and replaced by new ones? The city is full of change, and all of it is happening around us and together with us. We are curious to see what this theme means to you.
