The Espresso Bar on Štefánikova Street is a modern gastronomic spot focused on speed and dialogue between barista and guest. Its design is strictly minimalist, pragmatic, and grounded.

The project was realised between 2021 and 2022 by JUNG architekti. The design emerged from the need to create a specialised venue for espresso lovers, which was missing in the area at the time. The monochrome interior is distinctive for its use of recycled plastics from the Brno-based “Plastic Guys” combined with natural ash wood. The space is functionally divided into a dominant bar and mezzanine seating area, illuminated by bespoke bent plexiglass light fittings.

The café serves as a key everyday coffee stop for residents of the Ponava neighbourhood.
