Punkt. Starobrněnská

The newest Punkt. branch is located in a historic building in the very centre of Brno, within the premises of the Gallery of Architecture. The design approach is modest in its colour palette, yet bold in its use of materials.

The interior was designed in 2025 by JUNG architekti, as in the case of the espresso bar on Štefánikova Street, with the aim of linking the visual identity of previous branches with the building’s historic context. The space was originally occupied by a bookshop, where the windows in the vaults had been poorly infilled, visually closing off the interior.

The architects exposed the vaulted ceilings and complemented them with a mesh system of welded cages, which serves both for plants and technical installations. The interior is unified by a palette of white, grey, and black with sage-green accents, along with striking arched lighting that emphasises the curves of the space.

In addition to high-quality coffee, Punkt. on Starobrněnská plans to host concerts, exhibitions, and theatre performances in collaboration with a foundation.
