In cooperation with Free City Tour, we invite you to explore one of the best-preserved workers’ colonies in Brno.

The first small houses appeared in Kamenka more than 100 years ago, when workers from a nearby brickworks built them at the bottom of a former quarry. Over the years, the workers were gradually replaced by artists, and thanks to them the area has retained its unique atmosphere to this day.

During the tour, we will stroll together through Kamenka’s narrow lanes, learn about its origins, and visit the stained-glass workshop of Studio Atyp as well as one of the original cottages. Your guide will be Olga, who has called Kamenka home for over 15 years.

On site, you can purchase authentic products from local artists. Payments to local vendors and at DuckBar can be made in cash only.
