Božetěch Garden is the oldest public park in Brno’s Královo Pole district, with origins as a private monastic garden dating back to the 14th century. It was opened to the public after 1918 and has since been transformed into a welcoming green space for sport, relaxation, and community activities.
The park features a central formal area with a fountain and flower beds, a multifunctional sports and playground zone, open grassy spaces with seating and swings, and even a small vineyard recalling the area’s historical connection to viticulture. Recent renovations have preserved its historic charm while creating a modern, friendly environment for all visitors.
